Center for Community Engagement
Thank you for your interest in community engagement and the CCE. Housed in Academic Affairs, we are here to help the University and the community collaborate. The Center for Community Engagement is where faculty, staff, and students who want to serve and learn in the community can connect.
The CCE also acts as the entry point for non-profit community-based organizations and government institutions seeking University support to address community needs and interests.
The CCE encourages all forms of community engagement including
- Direct volunteer community service
- Philanthropy
- Activism
- Political participation
- Social entrepreneurship
- Community-based research
- Advocacy
Whether through a service-learning class, internship or volunteerism, or through community based participatory research, action research or creative activity for the common good, we're here to help faculty, staff, and students collaborate with community partners to deepen learning and outcomes.
Please contact cce@sonoma.edu with any ideas, questions, or concerns.
